How It Works

Neurofeedback helps individuals with ADHD by training the brain to regulate itself more effectively, especially in areas related to attention, impulse control, and emotional regulation.

Here’s how it works:

The Science Behind It

People with ADHD often show excess theta waves and reduced beta waves. Neurofeedback uses EEG technology to monitor these brainwave patterns in real time and provides feedback often through games or visual cues when the brain shifts toward more optimal activity.

What It Improves

  • Focus and sustained attention: By reinforcing beta activity, clients learn to stay engaged longer.
  • Reduced hyperactivity and impulsivity: Training helps calm overactive brain regions and improve self-regulation.
  • Emotional balance: Many report improved mood stability and reduced feelings of frustration or overwhelm.
  • Improved Sleep: ADHD affects sleep because it disrupts the brain’s ability to regulate arousal, attention, and circadian rhythms, all of which are essential for healthy sleep patterns.
  • Long-term gains: With consistent sessions (typically 20–40), the brain learns to maintain these patterns even outside of training.

What to Expect in a Session

You’ll wear a lightweight sensor cap that comfortably monitors your brain activity in real time. As you relax and watch a movie or play a simple game, the screen or sound gently shifts in response to your brainwaves, rewarding moments of focus and redirecting periods of distraction.

This creates a powerful feedback loop: your brain begins to recognize and repeat patterns associated with calm, clarity, and regulation.

  • Non invasive
  • Medication free
  • Tailored to your unique brain profile

Over time, these sessions help retrain the brain toward more efficient, balanced function, supporting improvements in focus, emotional regulation, sleep, and more.
